About the Award
The AWM Korntal gives an annual lifetime-achievement award –“Lebens.Werk”– to individuals who have contributed throughout their professional life in an exemplary way to missions and theological education around the world, but also –of course– specifically to AWM-CIU’s European School of Culture and Theology.
As such the individual is not only honored personally, but always represents many others for whom we praise God and who serve as testimony and example of serving God well through good and hard times. The German word WERK translates to much more than just “work” – the connotation it carries is the sum total of a person’s life and ministry as it “gels” and creates a cohesive lifetime achievement on multiple levels.
The prize is awarded once a year.
