Teaching & Learning Theory - ONLINE

This course will be taught via video conferencing (Zoom)!

This course compares various pedagogical models and their accompanying assumptions about the nature of learning. At the same time, biblical perspectives on teaching and learning are integrated into an understanding of effective, differentiated instruction. Students will gain a deeper understanding of learning processes and their relevance in different educational and cultural settings.

This course includes three phases:

Phase 1: online (Moodle), one week study time prior to live video period.

Phase 2: online (Zoom/Moodle), six consecutive Saturdays with five Zoom sessions each (1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Exception: First meeting (Jan 15): 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

Phase 3: online (Moodle), all assignments must be submitted 8 weeks after 6th Saturday.
